Does anybody happen to know if the black front numberplate bracket is interchangeable on Shadow series one and series two ?

Mine is down to a single joiner from the original 3 and I've seen a Shadow 2 one on the net at a possibly reasonable price.

Cheers,

Jeff

Hi Jeff,

No, unfortunately the mounting brackets for an SS1 are completely different to that on an SS2. The brackets for an SS1 are separate and shaped to fit the curved profile of the chrome bumper whereas the one for the SS2 is made in one piece to bolt to the flat undersurface of the square section bumper. Sorry!
KInd regards,
Chris

Thankyou Chris - I have some of the broken bits from mine and I guess it can't be too difficult to get a welder to gerry something up.

Hi Jeff,

No they are a different arrangement.

It is possible to make some more brackets and pot rivet them on.

We've usually got some good used ones here if you can't find any over there.
