Having endured a cruise control that worked intermittently for a number of years The bellows was refitted with a smear of silicone sealant I now have a cruise that works every time and is accurate to about one mph I hope this might help someone that is enduring the same problem (Message approved by david_gore) | ||

I have been wondering myself if I should even think about touching the cruise control... I may give it a go this weekend. | ||

Gareth. As the saying goes 'they all do it'. The rubber bellows relaxes and ceases to be air tight eventually it punctures. They are readily available as amoung other cars they were used on Jaguars. The sealant will do the trick. |
