The rubber grommets used in the hinges on the control flaps on my early shadow have rotted away with age, I have replaced the pivot points on the lower volume flap but cannot seem to access the hinge point for the lower temperature flap, the flap still moves but floats around and jams.
Is there anyway to get to this or is this a "remove the entire dashboard and heater" affair?
