Does anyone know where the fixing screws on a Shadow 1 for the box between the front seats that you keep stuff in are located? I've searched and searchd - including in the box under the old radio and can't see anything. Cheers, Jeff | ||

Hi Jeff, from memory, I seem to remember that there are two philips head screws, one either side and they are tucked right down by the sides of the front seats. I removed this box from my shadow when I had all the leather refurbished and the screws are hidden by the carpets also. i Don't know if you will be able to get to them without removing the front seats unless you push them right back. The tray just clips into the ash tray holder when the two screws are removed. Good luck. | ||

Jeff, The Technical Library on this site has most of the necessary information on your car. For the console box, go to the Technical Library, then Silver Shadow 1965-80, then Workshop Manual for cars prior to 30,000, then Car Body Part 2. The position of the bin screws is shown from Page 47 on. |
